The "RNA Co-Creation Consortium" is an organization jointly established by Kao Corporation and istyle Inc. on March 11, 2024. It promotes business co-creation centered on "Sebum RNA Monitoring*" technology, aiming for the sustainable development of the beauty & health industry.
*A technology that collects facial sebum using oil removal film and comprehensively analyzes the extracted RNA (a crucial molecule that transmits DNA information to cells, the blueprint of our body). Because it allows precise analysis of trace RNA information in sebum without damaging human skin, it is also used in pathological research on infant atopic dermatitis.
This consortium is working to create a system that allows consumers to select personal products and services with higher satisfaction based on RNA information. In addition to traditional fields such as beauty, food, and health, we are expanding our activities into health science fields such as health promotion and fiber, and we have decided to join TOYOSHIMA.
