Toyoshima & Co., Ltd. of a trading company specializing in textiles (President & CEO: TOYOSHIMA Hanshichi, Nagoya City Naka-ku Nishiki 2-15-15, hereinafter TOYOSHIMAINVISTA (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. (Director: Siew Wai Fan, Head Office: Sakura Avenue, Singapore) and INVISTA have entered into a distributor agreement for INVISTA's functional polyester (Coolmax® and Thermolite® fiber products) and Lycra® T400™ fiber in Indonesia. Under this agreement, TOYOSHIMA will respond to the increase in sewing volume in the ASEAN region and strengthen its integrated production system from raw materials to products in the region.

The distributorship agreement will enable TOYOSHIMA to sell INVISTA's textile raw materials in Indonesia and respond quickly to customer needs. While we will mainly sell textile raw materials for products sold in the Japan market, we will also sell textile raw materials for products sold in Indonesia.

TOYOSHIMA has already established a local subsidiary PT.TYSM INDONESIA in Indonesia for more than 6 years, and we can handle a wide range of raw cotton, yarn, fabric, and sewn products. In addition, TOYOSHIMA has already started working with INVISTA in Vietnam.

Kenji Tokokawa, Managing Director of TOYOSHIMA, said: "We are delighted to have concluded this agreement with INVISTA, and by establishing an integrated production system from materials to products based in Indonesia and collaborating with our base in Vietnam, we intend to further develop our sales activities in the ASEAN region. Together with INVISTA, TOYOSHIMA is planning technical seminars and exhibitions in Japan and Indonesia to provide value-added products to its customers, and will implement joint marketing programs for the Japan market. The first materials seminar will be held at TOYOSHIMA Tokyo Head Office from December 9 to 10.
