■ Over 20 Years of Organic Cotton Promotion Project "ORGABITS"

"ORGABITS" is an organic cotton promotion project that began in 2005 with the desire for everyone to contribute a little bit to the global environment and producers. To make organic cotton easier to use and spread, rather than focusing on 100% organic cotton used per garment, the "reverse approach" is to deliver products made with 10% organic cotton to 100 times more people. To date, over 150 fashion brands have participated, producing more than 12.3 million items in total (as of the end of June 2026). Items supported by ORGABITS include donations to support organic cotton farmers and NPOs, expanding the circle of social contribution activities that allow everyday participation through a single piece of clothing.

・Initiatives related to donations

One yen for each product made with ORGABITS is donated to PEACE BY PEACE COTTON, a general incorporated foundation that supports cotton farmers in India.

In addition, we are working to present 10 yen per piece of collaboration products with brands that have participated in the project to NPOs and charitable organizations that are active in various fields such as the environment, welfare, support for developing countries, and reconstruction in Japan and overseas.

This time, approximately 1.2 million yen, which is part of the sales of approximately 300,000 project products sold between July 2025 and June 2026, will be donated to a total of eight organizations. The donations will be used to fund each organization's activities.

The donation award program, which began in 2012, has reached its 15th year and now totals 75,176,824 yen.

In the future, "ORGABITS" will continue to aim to expand the circle of "little good things" with the cooperation of various organizations.

・What is organic cotton?

Organic cotton is cotton that has been organically grown on farmland that has not used pesticides or chemical substances that affect the environment or living organisms for about three years or more according to the organic farming standards of each country. By using organic cotton, we can protect the lives of the people involved in the production and the environment, such as the land where cotton is grown. Believing that choosing organic cotton is the first step towards a sustainable society, TOYOSHIMA aims to popularize organic cotton.

・Project to bring smiles to hospitalized children (Certified Nonprofit Organization Japan CliniClowns Association）

クリニクラウン（臨床道化師）が入院生活を送る子どもたちの病室を定期訪問し、遊びや会話を通じて子どもたちの成長を支援するプロジェクトです。

This project not only protects sea turtles, but also conserves marine animals and the seashore environment, and explores and realizes ways to preserve the livelihoods and culture of people living near the coast, fishermen, and people who come into contact with sea turtles.

LOOM stands for "Love Of Our Motherland."

This project aims to share our love for our hometown and plant cherry trees in Minamisanriku Town, which suffered severe damage in the Great East Japan Earthquake, making Minamisanriku a famous cherry blossom viewing spot.

・A project aiming for a society where no one is left behind through support for children's cafeterias

Children's cafeterias, which serve as warm places for multigenerational gatherings in the community, can be found anywhere in Japan, creating environments where everyone can feel safe and confident, while also working to encourage many people to participate in social activities that shape the future.


・ボルネオの生物多様性保全プロジェクト（認定NPO法人 ボルネオ保全トラスト・ジャパン）

This initiative is to protect Borneo's tropical rainforest, which nurtures rich biodiversity, which has been drastically reduced by plantation development for palm oil production. Protecting the remaining rainforest connects the lives of wildlife and leads to a future where animals and humans can live together.

This project aims to realize a society where everyone feels glad they were born by delivering medical care to those who cannot access it due to economic or social circumstances. They provide free medical care in Myanmar, Cambodia, and Laos, support activities in domestic disaster-affected areas, and support for children facing pediatric cancer and their families going out.
