In addition, if you wish, we will provide embroidery services for the target products you purchased.





Launched in 2015, FOOD TEXTILE is a trading company that connects apparel and lifestyle-related industries to address the problem of food loss in the food industry and reinvents them by adding new added value to things that would otherwise be thrown away TOYOSHIMAThat's why it's a sustainable project brand that can be realized. TOYOSHIMA It consists of three companies, a food-related company that provides ingredients to be discarded that are the raw materials for color, and a collaborative company that develops products with that dough, and purchases non-standard ingredients, cut vegetable scraps, coffee dumplings, etc. that have been discarded in the past from food-related companies and farms. The ingredients contained in the ingredients are extracted, and the dyes are used to dye fabrics and threads to transform them into new items.

At the shop that will open at JR Nagoya Takashimaya from July 26 (Wed.) ~ August 8 (Tue.), 2023, we will exhibit actual FOOD TEXTILE yarns and fabrics, as well as panels that convey the outline of the project. In addition, Komeda Coffee and Kagome Co., Ltd., which provide ingredients to be disposed of, and Akomeya Tokyo and Tabio, brands that develop items using FOOD TEXTILE as ingredients, will introduce their efforts and sell apparel items and miscellaneous goods.
 

In addition, workshops were held on Saturday, July 29 and Sunday, July 30 for elementary school children. In the workshop, you can embroider your favorite pattern from several types such as red turnip and komatsuna on a coaster using FOOD TEXTILE fabric. In addition, for July 29 (Sat) and July 30 (Sun) only, we will provide embroidery services for eligible products purchased if you wish.
