Toyoshima & Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Nagoya City, Naka-ku, President & CEO: Shinichi TOYOSHIMA), which promotes comfortable lifestyle proposals, is developing various collection and recycling materials and projects. These initiatives are collectively named "OurCycle," aiming to contribute to the realization of a "rich life" for everyone by creating a circular system that does not waste resources.

At the exhibition held on Toyoshima & Co., Ltd. Tokyo Head Office from 7/13 (Mon) to 7/31 (Fri), the 【2027SS TOYOSHIMA NEXT GENERAL EXHIBITION】, you can see the initiatives of various "OurCycle" projects, as well as the latest materials and booths.

■ About "Our Cycle"

TOYOSHIMA includes "UpDRIFT®," which recycles PET bottles and other materials collected from coastal areas in Japan and reinvents them into new products; "WAMEGURI," which recycles textile products discarded domestically; "FOOD TEXTILE," which reuses unused ingredients as dyes; and "Cy," which regenerates cosmetics that have served their purpose as "color" and circulates them into new textile products. We are offering 'Make'.

These initiatives are collectively named "OurCycle" to represent TOYOSHIMA 's circular scheme, and we propose ways to connect various everyday "discarded items" into new value through TOYOSHIMA 's unique systems.

At this exhibition, you can see examples of adoption and collaboration from each project, as well as material variations.

This project recycles PET bottles and other items collected along coasts in Japan and reinvents them into new products. Through cleanup activities conducted in collaboration with local activity groups, local governments, and companies, PET bottles and other items are collected and cleaned, then processed into raw materials called "UpDRFIT"® materials, which are then incorporated into new products.

By turning fibers from ocean-washed plastic bottles into new items, we aim to inspire reflection on environmental issues and to expand the cycle of circulation into the future.

We collect all kinds of textile products, including clothing that are discarded domestically due to unavoidable reasons, sort and recycle them at factories, and then circulate them again as products. Toward a society where discarded clothing and textile products continue to circulate as resources. WAMEGURI aims to be the starting point of that cycle.

"FOOD TEXTILE" is a sustainable project brand consisting of three companies: TOYOSHIMA, a food-related company that provides raw materials for colors, and a collaborative company that develops products from its fabrics. We purchase unused or out-of-spec ingredients, cut vegetable scraps, and coffee refreshers from food-related companies and farms, extract the ingredients contained in the ingredients, and use them as dyes to dye fabrics and threads to create new items.
