In addition to her role as a model, Marie launched PASCAL MARIE DESMARAIS, a brand in 2017 that handles items that use materials that are conscious of the creator and are particular about manufacturing methods with a low environmental impact, and she communicates her approach to sustainability through fashion items.

The material of the tote bag is TRUECOTTON 100%, and there are two types: plain and marble pattern. The marble pattern is dyed by hand one by Marie with the image of a bird's-eye view of the earth, and the dye is starchy that is not harmful to the body.

I started choosing organic cotton from the standpoint of a producer when I learned about the reality of child labor among cotton farmers. I think it is wonderful that we can trace where, who is working and how "TRUECOTTON" works, and that they value the happiness of producers. I feel that traceability will become a keyword in the future, and I would like to continue to release many items using TRUECOTTON.
