Press ReleaseProductCollaboration

Toyoshima & Co., Ltd. aims to propose comfortable lifestyles (President & CEO: Hanshichi Toyoshima, Nagoya City Naka-ku A project brand that reuses food to be discarded as dyes "FOOD TEXTILE (Food Textile)" has been adopted as a material for eco-bags and drawstrings for a limited time for Valentine's Day at the patisserie "FORTISSIMO H", which is owned by chef Hirohiro Tsujiguchi, a pastry chef representing the Japan. Original eco-bags and drawstrings dyed in colors extracted from cacao husks (cacao bean skins) from our own farm are sold at "Ash Chocolate World" in the Valentine's Day event "2023 Amour du Chocolat" held by JR Nagoya Takashimaya for a limited time from January 19 (Thursday) ~ February 14 (Tuesday).

"FOOD TEXTILE" is TOYOSHIMA It is a sustainable project brand consisting of three companies: a food company that provides raw materials for color, and a collaborative company that develops products with its dough. We purchase non-standard ingredients, cut vegetable scraps, coffee dumplings, etc. that have been discarded in the past from food-related companies and farms, extract the ingredients contained in the ingredients, dye them into dough and thread, and transform them into new items.

In this collaboration, we use a fabric dyed in colors extracted from the outer skin (cacao husk) of cacao beans grown on our own farm in Peru owned by Chef Tsujiguchi. Peru has a rich water source and sunshine conditions, so it has an ideal environment for growing beans, and it is said that it is attracting a lot of attention among chocolatiers because there are several unique varieties with unique tastes such as sweetness and richness.

In addition to enjoying cacao as chocolate, by reusing cacao husks that are simply thrown away as a color, it is a collaboration where you can enjoy the natural gentle colors that can be extracted from the cacao beans of our own farm.
The original eco-bag and drawstring produced this time are on sale at "Ash Chocolate World" in the Valentine's Day event "2023 Amour du Chocolat" held by JR Nagoya Takashimaya for a limited time from January 19 (Thursday) ~ February 14 (Tuesday).

Going forward, "FOOD TEXTILE" will continue to propose the value of reinventing things that are simply discarded and allowing people to enjoy clothing, food, and living scenes in a fashionable way.
