Toyoshima & Co., Ltd. (President & CEO: Hanshichi Toyoshima, Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture Naka-ku In January 2022, we launched the WAMEGURI project to create a new common sense and culture that "clothes are circulating in Japan." In collaboration with Light On Co., Ltd. (Representative Director: Yusuke Fujiwara, Jingumae, Shibuya-ku), which sells casual wear with jeans as its core item, we will develop the first product of the project as "SUSTAINA-BLUE", which reuses cotton products collected by the company that will be discarded. The first product will be limited to the "Light On LaLaport Fukuoka Store" in "Mitsui Shopping Park LaLaport Fukuoka", which will open in Fukuoka Prefecture as the first entry into Kyushu, and will be on sale from April 25, 2022, the day of the grand opening.

■Denim is born from recycled cotton products using Japanese technology!
The products sold in collaboration with Right-On this time are made from recycled cotton, one of the four materials used in the WAMEGURI project.
With the cooperation of Shinnaigai Cotton Co., Ltd., which manufactures and sells spinning, textiles, and products, cotton products that can no longer be worn at Right-on are collected, cut into small pieces, and scratched with a roller with a needle like a music box. , back to cotton. The cotton is then finely twisted into yarn, which is then used as part of the raw material for new products. Through this recycling process, the first product, "SUSTAINA-BLUE" denim, was born.
The “WAMEGURI” project will continue to cooperate with various brands and create a new common sense and culture that “clothes are circulated domestically” while utilizing the recycling technology of Japanese companies, and recycle unnecessary clothing as a resource. We aim to protect the limited earth resources by using them.

■ About the "WAMEGURI" project
The "WAMEGURI" project is a project that collects, cuts, and spins all domestically, and recycles the four materials of PET bottles, cotton, wool, and feathers into new products using an environmentally friendly recycling system. We launched in January 2022 to create a new common sense and culture that "clothes circulate domestically", characterized by the recycling process being carried out "in Japan".
In addition to these four materials, we aim to work on creating a system that circulates unnecessary items from daily life with everyone.
