Toyoshima & Co., Ltd. (President & CEO: Hanshichi Toyoshima, Nagoya City Naka-ku FOOD TEXTILE (Food Textile), a project brand that reuses ingredients scheduled for disposal as dyes, has been adopted by UNICO, a lifestyle shop developed by Misawa Co., Ltd. (President & CEO: Futoshi Misawa, Ebisu, Shibuya-ku).
This time, items using "FOOD TEXTILE" fabric will appear as a new series "FABOUS" at unico/unico loom stores and the unico online shop.

"FOOD TEXTILE", which has developed various apparel products through collaboration so far, will be adopted for interior products for the first time and will start product development.
The new series "FABOUS", which uses the fabric of "FOOD TEXTILE" that appears in unico, is derived from a coined word that combines "fabric" and "delicious". `` FOOD TEXTILE'' has 500 colors of dyes extracted from vegetables and fruits that are scheduled to be discarded. With soft colors derived from nature, this series brings comfort to the earth and people's lives.

"FOOD TEXTILE" is Toyoshima & Co., Ltd. It is a sustainable project brand consisting of three companies: a food company that provides raw materials for color, and a collaborative company that develops products with its dough. We purchase non-standard ingredients, cut vegetable scraps, coffee dumplings, etc. that have been discarded in the past from food-related companies and farms, extract the ingredients contained in the food, dye them into fabrics and threads using them, and regenerate them as new items.
"FOOD TEXTILE" will continue to propose the value of reinventing things that are simply thrown away and enjoying the lifestyle scenes of clothing, food, and housing in a fashionable way.
