Toyoshima & Co., Ltd. aims to propose comfortable lifestyles (President & CEO: Hanshichi Toyoshima, Nagoya City Naka-ku ) will start developing "UpDRIFT",™ a fiber that has been reborn as a resource (thread) using drifted PET bottles as raw materials.

It is estimated that there are already 150 million tons of plastic in the ocean, and 8 million tons of new plastic are said to enter the ocean each year.
