■What is the Orgabits Project?

"ORGABITS" is an organic cotton spread project that started in 2005 with the idea that everyone should contribute "bits" to the global environment and producers.
In order to facilitate the use and popularization of organic cotton, we have adopted a "reversal idea" to deliver 10% organic cotton products to 100 times more people, regardless of the amount of organic cotton used in one piece of clothing. More than 130 fashion brands participate in the event, producing more than 8 million items in total. Activities have expanded to include support for farmers in the country of origin of organic cotton and NPO corporations.

■ About the Sakura Namiki Project
The "Sakura Namiki Project" is an activity by the NPO Sakura Namiki Network to plant cherry trees in the areas reached by the tsunami that occurred in the Tohoku region during the Great East Japan Earthquake, in order to prevent the memory of the earthquake from fading.
March 11, 2011. The tsunami caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake caused enormous damage to the beautiful Tohoku region. An earthquake and tsunami are said to hit eastern Japan once every 100 years. I want to pass down the story from generation to generation and protect life.
In November 2011, the "Sakura Namiki Project" was launched by volunteers involved in flowers and the strong desire of people in the Tohoku region to plant cherry trees where the tsunami hit.
Tree planting began in the spring of 2012, and by last year 5,719 cherry trees had been planted in Fukushima, Miyagi, and Iwate prefectures.
