Press ReleaseCollaboration

This time, Toyoshima & Co., Ltd. (President & CEO: Hanshichi Toyoshima, Nagoya City Naka-ku From traceable organic cotton yarn "TRUECOTTON / true cotton" developed by "production farm and spinning factory", charity project for environmental conservation "Save nature and the animals project" The second phase of is started.
This year's collaboration includes model Mayumi Sada, Izumi Shirahama, who has been engaged in various other expressive activities in addition to Rabri as a new model, stylists Tsugumi Wataru, and Chiharu Momoji.

As before, the mask made of antibacterial treatment on the TRUECOTTON of the whole garment has been remodeled so that it can be worn more comfortably and beautifully. In addition, the shape of the case for storing the mask has been greatly changed, and a new mask strap that is convenient for putting on and taking off the mask will be sold as a set.

TRUECOTTON yarn is made from organic cotton that "shows the face of the producer" and is carefully cultivated by people who work in a working environment that protects health and safety on the rich farms of the Turkish spinning group "UCAK TEKSTIL". Turkey, a TRUECOTTON-producing country, has one of the strictest regulations on the cultivation of genetically modified crops among countries that comply with EU laws and regulations. Under these regulations, TRUECOTTON is grown in a way that has a low risk of contamination with genetically modified seeds, and is also characterized by overwhelmingly low garbage contamination due to machine-picked harvesting. Keeping genetically modified seeds away will lead to the selection of seeds that circulate into the future and contribute to a sustainable global environment.
* According to the standards of organic farming in each country, the use of genetically modified seeds is basically not permitted.

The mask is coated with washable antibacterial treatment on this TRUECOTTON yarn and knitted seamlessly to reduce the burden of wearing it for a long time. In addition, the mask case made of quilted material of the same TRUECOTTON has a multi-pocket bi-fold type that greatly improves the functionality. The mask strap that was commercialized this time due to the needs of collaborators is a ribbon with a cute pom-pom design, and not only as a functional aspect but also as a fashionable accent.
This TRUECOTTON antibacterial mask set will be available for pre-order on the EC site "STYLEVOICE.COM" from 12/24 (Thursday).

A portion of the proceeds will be used to support WWF JAPAN's activities to protect rare wildlife, forests and oceans, and to support activities aimed at the sustainable use of natural resources and the prevention of global warming.

Choosing a TRUECOTTON mask from among the many masks is a new value choice that pays attention to the production background by "organic cotton that shows the face of the producer", and as a result, it leads to participation in activities for a "better future of the earth". And in the future, Toyoshima & Co., Ltd., TRUECOTTON yarn that has made it possible to trace to the yarn will be sewn and knitted, And we will aim to achieve "full traceability" that enables traceability up to the final product.
