Nougyou Joshi Project x FOODTEXTILE crowdfunding “Vegetable T-shirt to wear” Return T-shirts dyed with discarded vegetables

Toyoshima & Co., Ltd. of a trading company specializing in textiles (President & CEO: Hanshichi Toyoshima, Nagoya City Naka-ku Nishiki 2-15-15) will start crowdfunding on October 26, 2017 (Thursday) at "Makuake" (Makuake) operated by CyberAgent Crowdfunding Co., Ltd.

The main product that will be returned this time is a plain and printed "Vegetables to wear" T-shirt that is dyed by reusing five types of discarded vegetables (carrots, tomatoes, leeks, eggplants, and pumpkins) in collaboration with the "Agricultural Women's Project" promoted by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
Because it is simple and generously sized, it is perfect not only for farming, but also for home gardening, gardening, and active scenes.

This initiative is the first for a company participating in the Nougyou Joshi Project! It will be sold on crowdfunding. TOYOSHIMA, a trading company specializing in textiles, is making efforts to reuse food waste from the fashion industry by utilizing the technology of “food textiles”. Together with the thoughts of Nougyou Joshi, we will deliver “wearable vegetables” to everyone.
