Toyoshima & Co., Ltd. (President: Hanshichi Toyoshima, Nagoya City Naka-ku), which promotes the proposal of comfortable lifestyles, is focusing on initiatives to expand the creativity and possibilities of fashion using AI.
In July 2024, we announced the "VIRTUAL STANDARD AI MEASURE," a device that automates the measurement work of apparel products using image analysis AI, and now we have developed the second device with the addition of a measurement function for long sleeve items and large size items, a product weight measurement function, and a web-based operation system.
The second unit is scheduled to be exhibited at the "TOYOSHIMA GENERAL EXHIBITION2026" to be held on the 2nd floor of Toyoshima & Co., Ltd. Tokyo Head Office from July 15 (Tuesday) to August 8 (Friday), 2025. During the exhibition, anyone who makes a reservation in advance can see the demonstration on the actual machine.
TOYOSHIMA announced in July 2024 that the VIRTUAL STANDARD AI MEASURE is a device that automates the measurement process of apparel products. Measurements can be completed instantly by simply taking a single picture with a dedicated camera, reducing the work time by more than half. In addition, the measurement points can be adjusted on the monitor screen according to the design, providing more accurate measurement results than conventional manual work.
In the second machine developed this time, the equipment base has been enlarged, making it possible to measure long-sleeved items and large-size items. In addition, a new product weight measurement function has been implemented, making it possible to obtain not only measurements but also data on product weight in units of 1 g. As a result, it is expected to realize an efficient management system that utilizes more detailed data in the manufacturing process of apparel products.
In addition, the operation system has been web-based, making it easy to operate from anywhere, making it easier to use for more users.
TOYOSHIMA will continue to contribute to the development of the apparel industry through various proposals centered on sustainability and technology.
