 Toyoshima & Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Naka-ku, Nagoya, President & CEO: Hanshichi Toyoshima), which promotes proposals for comfortable lifestyles, will open its femtech and femcare brand "Hogara" on March 15, 2024. In collaboration with SOCO HAUS, a rental residence that provides a light and comfortable life, we will proceed with a demonstration experiment that provides a variety of support services for female residents.
 

As the first collaborative event, we invited Ms. Arisa Kamada, who is engaged in activities to disseminate and promote sustainable fashion, and held a talk event with the theme of "Living space created by Hogara and SOCO HAUS ~Valuing small awareness, how to live your own way of life and daily life~" with Hogara Hogara It will be streamed in Instagram live format from 18 o'clock on 3/11 (Monday) on the official Instagram account.

"Hogara" is a brand launched by female employees of TOYOSHIMA with the idea of "wanting to solve the problems they had while working, and to create products that better reflect the voices of the workplace." The brand name is derived from an ancient Japan word meaning "bright and wide." Based on actual experiences and first-hand voices from women close to him, he collected and planned information on his own to realize the commercialization of "what we want now" in real life. Aiming to be a "brand for women's comfortable daily life", we are developing "items with special functions" that can only be made by textile professional TOYOSHIMA.

 

"SOCO HAUS" is a new rental residence that realizes a "light and comfortable life" in the city by proposing a lifestyle that suits their lifestyles and values, especially for young people living alone, in urban areas where rents continue to rise.

Hogara and SOCO HAUS are both brands that have grown up based on "small awareness" and "discomfort" of the "natural", so we have decided to collaborate across the boundaries between the "fashion industry" and the "real estate industry".

 

As the first event of the collaboration, we invited Ms. Arisa Kamada, who has been thinking about and disseminating sustainable fashion after having doubts about fast fashion that was popular at the time when she was a fashion model, to talk about "how to face the small things that everyone has in their daily lives" and "tips for taking action" A talk event that is sprinkled with the essence of the thoughts will be distributed in the form of an Instagram live on Hogara 's official Instagram account from 6 p.m. on Monday, March 11.

He serves as the co-president of UNISTEPS, a general incorporated association with the vision of "a diverse and healthy fashion industry," and has developed a wide range of projects that encourage people to pay attention to the impact on the natural environment and society in the process of clothing production and disposal.

He is a doctoral student at Keio University's Graduate School of Media and Governance.

After graduating from Yokohama National University, he joined Toyoshima & Co., Ltd. in 2015. He belongs to a unit that handles corporate uniforms, and is engaged in a full range of work from sales to production management. When I joined the company, there were no female salespeople, but when the number of female salespeople gradually increased, I asked them, "Why don't you make something that we really want?" and launched Hogara, which has continued to this day.

After joining Mitsui Fudosan Residential Co., Ltd., he was involved in business development of residential blocks. He has experience in redevelopment projects in the city center and in the planning of residences for wealthy people in Japan and overseas. The Mitsui Fudosan Group's Business Proposal System (MAG! C) and launched the rental residence brand "SOCO HAUS" in 2023. As the first step, SOCO HAUS KORAKUEN will open in March 2024.
