(Representative Director: Noriyoshi Murakami, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) is working together with W TOKYO Co., Ltd. (Representative Director: Noriyoshi Murakami, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) in the promotion project "New VibeZ" implemented through industry-academia-government-private collaboration so that the younger generation, who will lead the next generation, in particular will think about decarbonization and take action. Partnership Agreement on Promoting Zero Carbon Cities was concluded on Saturday, June 24.
Toyoshima & Co., Ltd. is engaged in a series of processes from the purchase and sale of raw materials, yarns, and fabrics from all over the world, to the planning and production of final products, and is comprehensively developing business in all processes of the fashion industry. In addition, in a world where 5G and ICT are spreading and Society 5.0 is being promoted, we are seeking ways to contribute to society, and since 2017 we have been investing in venture companies with the latest technologies from the CVC Fund.
"New VibeZ" launched by Toyota City will be a promotional project under the theme of "resource recycling" that focuses on "clothing," which is of great interest to the younger generation, and will disseminate practices and information to create "empathy" for the same generation with the cooperation of companies and other organizations, led by university students and others. As part of this project, Toyoshima & Co., Ltd., Toyota City, and W TOKYO Co., Ltd. have concluded a partnership agreement on the promotion of zero carbon cities. Through this agreement, Toyoshima & Co., Ltd. will collaborate on a demonstration project related to resource recycling of clothing.
On Saturday, June 24, 2023, a signing ceremony was held by Toyota City, Toyoshima & Co., Ltd., and W TOKYO Co., Ltd. At the signing ceremony, an overview of "New VibeZ" was given and the promotional logo was unveiled.
