Toyoshima & Co., Ltd. of a trading company specializing in textiles (President & CEO: TOYOSHIMA Hanshichi, Nagoya City Naka-ku Nishiki 2-15-15) will exhibit at Ecopro Dakutsu 2015, one of the largest environmental exhibitions in the Japan (estimated number of visitors: 165,000) to be held at Tokyo Big Sight on December 10 (Thu) ~ 12 (Sat), 2015 (East Hall 3 / Booth No.: 3-015).

This time, Toyoshima & Co., Ltd. The project "Food Textile" is a textile brand that uses ingredients that are scheduled to be discarded as dyes. Ingredients that were just waiting to be disposed of are transformed into clothes and household goods and continue to live. Introducing new forms of textiles that are kind to the earth and enrich every day.
The ingredients used in "Food Textiles" are reused from major food manufacturers that agree with the brand's idea, such as the outer leaves and cores of cabbage and lettuce removed when making cut vegetables, and coffee grounds after extraction, and the ingredients are dyed using our unique technology. It can be used not only in fashion, but also in a wide range of fields, from kitchen utensils such as aprons and placemats to interiors such as curtains and sofas.
