"Hogara" Helps Female Employees Solve Menstrual Problems! Launches "Women's Support Project" with Prestige International Co., Ltd.

Toyoshima Co., Ltd. Through this project, female employees working at PI will be able to recognize and experience the sanitary shorts of Hogara, so that they can prevent urine leakage during menstruation and menopause. We aim to contribute as one of the new options in women's lifestyles.





■ PI's in-house monitor planning and future initiatives

At the start of the project, we will first implement an in-house monitoring plan for femtech and femcare products for female employees working at PI headquarters, and in the future we will develop similar measures at PI domestic bases in each region.

■ Background to the implementation of the “Aranmare x Hogara Women's Support Project”
“Hogara” is a brand that handles femtech and femcare products launched by female members of TOYOSHIMA who are textile professionals. Volunteer female employees gathered across departments, based on the concept of “what we want now,” to create products that reflect the voices of women in the field who want to solve the problems they had while working. We develop and sell items that can only be provided by our company, which has extensive knowledge and networks of textiles, with the desire to

At PI, we are taking measures to create an environment where everyone can work comfortably, such as setting up an in-house nursery school and enhancing various personnel systems. In order to implement measures based on employee feedback, we conducted an internal questionnaire (*1) targeting female employees, who account for approximately 70% of PI Group employees. While they have issues related to systemic diseases and menstruation, they do not have sufficient knowledge and understanding of femtech and femcare products such as water-sanitary shorts, and they are lacking options for solving issues.

In response to this situation, in order to create an environment where femtech and femcare products can be easily tried and purchased within the company, we created Hogara, which was born from the perspective of working women, considering usability and functionality. A joint project was launched.
