This time, traceable organic cotton yarn "TRUECOTTON / true cotton" that can be traced back to the production farm and spinning mill Toyoshima & Co., Ltd. (President & CEO: Hanshichi Toyoshima, Nagoya City) Naka-ku) will debut from.

TRUECOTTON is made from organic cotton carefully grown by people who work in a healthy and safe working environment on the rich farms of the Turkish spinning group "UCAK TEKSTIL".

Today, organic cotton is grown in various places around the world, but it is very difficult to clearly trace which farms and under what conditions. Just as we choose the ingredients we eat with particular attention to the production area and organic, TRUECOTTON proposes the value of choosing something new, in which the face of the producer who grew it can be seen even in the cotton that touches our skin. TOYOSHIMA has traceable organic cotton yarn and fabric inventory, and can handle everything from raw materials to products across the entire company.

Toyoshima & Co., Ltd. has been working to promote sustainability in the fashion industry by handling environmentally friendly materials for about 30 years. Last year, we formed a partnership with WWF JAPAN (World Wide Fund for Nature) to create "Water Stewardship" and " We are working on specific improvement plans and targets for the procurement of naturally derived raw materials.

Through this TRUECOTTON, we will lead to the improvement of sustainability in the fashion industry by maintaining a rich natural environment, developing and continuing a healthy textile industry, and delivering safe and secure cotton to people.

AboutTRUECOTTON

Organic cotton yarn that can identify "farms and spinning mills". Toyoshima & Co., Ltd. was born by signing an exclusive contract with UCAK TEKSTIL, a spinning groove of Turkish Organics, a representative of traceable cotton, for Japanese companies. Since integrated management from farm to spinning can be performed, it is possible to provide organic cotton yarn that can identify "farm and spinning factory".

The cotton is grown from seeds that have not been genetically modified and is harvested by machine picking, so it is organic cotton with little contamination. Choosing organic cotton actually means protecting producers from health hazards such as pesticides. It is an organic cotton yarn made in a place that is backed by such an environment where even the people who work in the spinning factory that spins the cotton into yarn can feel like working hard tomorrow.
