About outbreak of new coronavirus infected person
One employee working at our Tokyo Head Office (Kanda Iwamotocho, Chiyoda Ward) was diagnosed as "positive" by a laboratory and confirmed to be infected with the new coronavirus.
In the future, we will implement the following measures and respond appropriately according to the instructions of the public health center, giving top priority to preventing the spread of infection inside and outside the company and ensuring the safety of employees.
We would like to ask for the understanding of everyone involved in our company.
◆ Infection route
Until today, we have taken measures to consider the safety of our business partners and employees in order to respond to the spread of the new coronavirus infection, but Tokyo Head OfficeOn April 17, one employee was found to be infected. He had switched to working from home on April 8, but on April 10, he had a fever and underwent a PCR test, which resulted in a positive result. The person himself has not come to work since the onset of the disease, but as a precaution, we have already disinfected the office area and common areas. In addition, we have received the opinion from the public health center that there are no close contacts of business partners or employees. The detailed infection route is currently being investigated.
◆ Countermeasures implemented by the Company
・ From April 6, Tokyo Head Office will be open to other offices (Nagoya Head Office, Ichinomiya Headquarters, Hamamatsu Branch) from April 13
We are switching to working from home.
・ When coming to the office, we thoroughly measure body temperature in advance. (Coming to work is prohibited at 37.5 degrees Celsius or higher)
・ Not only employees, but also visitors are thoroughly required to wear masks and use disinfectants.
・ We refrain from going out and business trips, and use web conferences if necessary.
