SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS

The environmental impact of the fashion industry is a major problem around the world.
According to an announcement by the Ministry of the Environment, the environmental impact of procurement of raw materials, spinning, sewing, and transportation of products amounts to approximately 90,000 tons of CO2 emissions and approximately 8.3 billion m3 of water in one year.
In addition, 508,000 tons of clothing are thrown away every year in Japan. That's equivalent to 130 large truckloads per day.
A project that seeks to reduce this environmental impact is the global recycled material "TecRecyc".
TecRecyc is taking on the challenge of reducing CO2 emissions and reducing the burden on the environment by reusing materials that have been discarded in the past in the three materials of polyester, nylon, and acrylic.

WAGAMI is a Japanese paper yarn with a good texture (comfort) that is spun by the world's first manufacturing method.
The fusion of the paper-making technology of a paper mill in Japan, which has a history of 100 years, and the special manufacturing equipment devised through many years of research, has completed a "supple" and "sturdy" yarn.
The environmental friendliness and functional characteristics of the original raw materials of Japanese paper are also attractive, making it an "ideal new material".
The porosity of washi fiber, which is the raw material for WAGAMI, is a natural fiber but has many functional properties.

FUNCTIONAL MATERIALS

Ultra-strong material that can withstand the weight of hippopotamus

The high-strength yarn GRANBOND is about twice as strong as regular polyester. Even if an adult hippopotamus rides on it, it will not tear.
The molecular weight of the fiber is small (low molecular weight) and it is destroyed through the gaps, but the high strength yarn has a long molecular weight (high molecular weight), so there are few gaps and it is difficult to be destroyed.
GRANBOND is already being used in materials that require strength, such as airbags, seat belts, and harness belts.
You can use GRANBOND with confidence even in scenes such as trekking and outdoor activities.

A functional material that maintains warmth by absorbing and radiating the heat energy of far-infrared rays emitted from the body

It is a functional material that maintains warmth by absorbing and radiating the heat energy of far-infrared rays emitted from the body.
A heat-retaining functional material made by blending and kneading ultra-small ceramic powder into textile raw materials. Far infrared rays emitted from the wearer's body are absorbed and radiated by fibers (FELCERA) to keep warm. It is a functional material that can maintain warmth by circulating temperature between FELCERA and the body using the wearer's own body temperature.
