Toyoshima & Co., Ltd. of a trading company specializing in textiles (President & CEO: Hanshichi Toyoshima, Nagoya City Naka-ku Nishiki 2-15-15) has underwritten a third-party allotment of shares to Xenoma Co., Ltd. Xenoma is a venture company that aims to commercialize and commercialize deformable and stretchable electronic circuits called printed circuit fabrics (PCFs), the result of research by Professor Takao Someya of the Graduate School of Engineering, the University of Tokyo. PCF is characterized by high tensile durability and washability, and the company's product e-skin that applies PCF can measure various biological information and movements of various parts of the body in real time.

Smart apparel, which has new functions that cannot be obtained with existing textile materials, is about to enter the stage of full-fledged application development, incorporating material technology, processing technology, and the evolution of electronics.
