Toyoshima & Co., Ltd. (President & CEO: Hanshichi Toyoshima, Nagoya City Naka-ku) has signed an "Official Partner" agreement with Aichi International Arena Co., Ltd. (Representative Director: Hisato Kanji, Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture), which operates IG Arena, one of the largest hybrid oval entertainment arenas in Japan, which will open this year.
IG Arena is dedicated to "Global-World-Class Entertainment Experience" and "Smart-Surprise and Happiness Connected by the Power of Innovation." Based on the concept of "Community-A hub for sports and culture that develops in harmony with the community," we aim to contribute to the local community as a world-class arena.
As part of our contribution to the local community and in sympathy with the policies and philosophy of IG Arena, we have become an official partner of IG Arena. Together with the arena, we will contribute to the development of local communities and the creation of new value.
・About IG Arena
One of Japan's largest hybrid oval entertainment arenas will open in Aichi Prefecture in the summer of 2025. Boasting a maximum capacity of 17,000 people, the arena will meet global standards such as a ceiling height of 30 meters. In addition to hosting the Grand Sumo Tournament in Nagoya, it has been decided that it will be the home arena of the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins. The name of IG Arena will be announced in February 2024 with its naming rights partner, IG Group (UK). The exterior and interior design are by Kengo Kuma Urban Design Office.
