Press ReleaseProducts

This time, Toyoshima & Co., Ltd. (President & CEO: Hanshichi Toyoshima, Nagoya City Naka-ku Traceable organic cotton yarn "TRUECOTTON / True Cotton" and a sustainable project to reuse vegetables and ingredients that are scheduled to be discarded as dyes "FOOD TEXTILE / Food Textiles" has been selected for the new project "the BEAUTIFUL" project in collaboration between John Patrick of "ORGANIC BY JOHN PATRICK" from LA, which has been manufacturing products focusing on organic and SDGs, and specialty store "Ron Herman" from California.

In this project, all items developed in Japan are transferred to the production background of Japan from the perspective of reducing the burden on the environment, while maintaining the simple and beautiful design that John Patrick has cherished for many years. We will provide this new attempt of manufacturing by Toyoshima & Co., Ltd., which has been working on the development of sustainable materials for many years and ambitiously releases materials that are friendly to the global environment of the future.

TRUECOTTON is traceable organic cotton that can be "identified farm and mill".
People who work on cotton farms can lead healthy and bright lives, and people who work in spinning cotton and making yarn
It is a safe and secure organic cotton made in an environment where you can work energetically tomorrow, and where you can see the face of the producer. It is made by people who work in a healthy and safe working environment on the rich farms of the Turkish spinning group "UCAK TEKSTIL", with which TOYOSHIMA has an exclusive contract in Japan. In addition, some products are dyed by reusing ingredients to be discarded, which is also developed by Toyoshima & Co., Ltd.FOOD TEXTILE / Food Textiles. It is finished in a gentle color unique to natural dyes made from red turnip and rooibos.

"Ron Herman and I both believe that the most beautiful material comes from the earth, and we want to continue to cherish this fertile soil. So "Organic × Beautiful". We will create organic and beautiful creations for the future. In honor of Mother Earth and its beauty." John Patrick said.

The collection will be available at the Ron Herman shop from Saturday, August 28.

ORGANIC BY JOHN PATRICK

Since its birth in 2004, with the brand name "ORGANIC", the brand has developed simple yet high-quality wardrobes that can be worn for a long time using fair trade materials. After several years of hiatus, we have restarted from spring/summer 2021. Designer John Patrick is a naturalist who lives in the great outdoors of America, and has worked on many projects that value the harmony between fashion and nature, as well as the thoughts of the producers.
He also loves Japanese aesthetics, and has built a good relationship with Ron Herman for a long time since the start of handling in Japan in 2010.

TRUECOTTON
Organic cotton yarn that can identify "farms and spinning mills".
Toyoshima & Co., Ltd. was born by signing an exclusive sales agreement with UCAK TEKSTIL, a spinning groove of Turkish Organics, a representative of traceable cotton, for Japanese companies. Since integrated management from farm to spinning can be performed, it is possible to provide organic cotton yarn that can identify "farm and spinning factory". Cotton is grown from seeds that have not been genetically modified, and is harvested by machine picking, so it is organic cotton that is less contaminated with foreign substances. Choosing organic cotton actually protects producers from health hazards such as pesticides. It is an organic cotton yarn made in an environment where even people who work in spinning cotton factories who make yarn can feel that they will work energetically tomorrow.
