Toyoshima & Co., Ltd. (President & CEO: Hanshichi Toyoshima, Nagoya Naka-ku Traceable organic cotton yarn that can be traced back to production farms and spinning mills TRUECOTTON / True Cotton〟 The charity project "Save nature and the animals" was endorsed by Maison Kitsuné, a lifestyle brand based in Paris and Tokyo. The collaboration eco-bag released at the end of last year became popular, selling out in a few hours on WWF's mail-order site PANDA SHOP. As the second step in our efforts with Maison Kitsuné in this project, we will sell a limited number of T-shirts made of TRUECOTTON thread.

On the rich farm of the Turkish spinning group "UCAK TEKSTIL", yarn and TRUECOTTON made from organic cotton, carefully grown by people working in a working environment where health and safety are protected.
Recently, the number of consumers who choose the ingredients they eat by sticking to where they are made and whether they are organic has increased. In the same way, it is important to make sure that cotton that comes into contact with our skin is traceable from cotton, which is a raw material. By doing so, we can recognize human rights issues in the global environment and labor on the part of the actors, and aim for healthy consumption. In order to realize such a new value standard for selecting things, we launched a project to make T-shirts using traceable organic cotton.

"About five years ago, when I moved my base of living from Europe to Tokyo, compared to Europe, where environmental protection awareness is already high, I saw a lot of plastic waste in the streets of Japan and Asia, which made me feel very sad, and my feelings about sustainability were ignited. I thought that if I didn't start something, there would be no reaction and it wouldn't evolve, so I agreed to this project," says Maison. Kitsuné co-founder Riya Kuroki.

Like the eco-bag, Maison Kitsuné's iconic "Fox Head" features an adorable graphic cap that says WWF, making it simple and easy to wear without coloring in the image of a new start. By making it easy for anyone to wear it with a genderless and ageless basicity, we designed it to be an opportunity to take action from small things about global environmental problems and sustainability, which are also difficult problems.

Once again, a portion of the proceeds will be used to support WWF JAPAN activities to protect rare wildlife, forests and oceans, and activities aimed at the sustainable use of natural resources and the prevention of global warming.
T-shirts will go on sale at all Maison Kitsuné stores in Japan and ZOZOTOWN from Thursday, February 4, 2021.

About TRUECOTTON
Organic cotton yarn that can identify "farms and spinning mills".
Toyoshima & Co., Ltd. was born by signing an exclusive sales agreement with UCAK TEKSTIL, a Turkish organic spinning groove that is a representative of traceable organic cotton, to Japanese companies.
Since integrated management from farm to spinning can be performed, it is possible to provide organic cotton yarn that allows the faces of people working on "farms and spinning mills" to be seen.
Cotton is grown from seeds that have not been genetically modified, and is harvested by machine picking.
It is organic cotton with little contamination of foreign matter.

Choosing organic cotton actually means protecting producers from health hazards such as pesticides. It is an organic cotton yarn made in a place that is backed by such an environment where even the people who work in the spinning factory that spins cotton to make yarn can think that they will work well tomorrow.
