"ORGABITS" is an organic cotton spread project that started in 2005 with the idea that everyone should contribute "bits" to the global environment and producers. Since its opening in Sendagaya in 1972, HOLLYWOOD RANCH MARKET, which adopted ORGABITS, has valued American standard wear very much, and among them, one of the products that is particularly thoughtful is "denim". In the early 1980s, we created original jeans made with a strong commitment to everything from fabrics to sewing, and we have continued to improve and bring out various models to the present day. In 2020, nearly 40 years after the birth of the original jeans, new jeans blended with ORGABITS organic cotton are on sale as the entire fashion industry expands its efforts toward sustainability.
■organicSlim Fit Jeans Product Overview
The back pockets without stitches, the slim waistband, and the fine stitching work make these slim-fit jeans simple yet somewhat elegant. The fabric is 13.5 oz selvedge denim from ORGABITS blended with organic cotton. By reducing the number of wefts and weaving, we have achieved a "vintage denim-like texture" and "stress-free comfort" due to the natural stretch of the fabric, even though it is 100% cotton. We are developing two types of one wash and washed processing.

In order to facilitate the use and popularization of organic cotton, we have adopted a "reversal idea" to deliver 10% organic cotton products to 100 times more people, regardless of the amount of organic cotton used in one piece of clothing. More than 100 fashion brands have participated in the event, producing more than 7.2 million items in total. Activities have expanded to include support for farmers in the country of origin of organic cotton and NPO corporations. 2020 marks the 15th anniversary.
