FOOD TEXTILE × Cerezo Osaka Launch of T-shirts born from “Sakura” “CEREZO” = “Sakura” in Spanish

A project brand developed by Toyoshima & Co., Ltd. of a trading company specializing in textiles "FOOD TEXTILE (Food Textile) is collaborating with Cerezo Osaka, a professional soccer club that is a member of the Japan Professional Soccer League, whose hometown is Osaka City and Sakai City, Osaka Prefecture, to release T-shirts dyed with "cherry blossoms" on the "Cerezo Osaka" online shop from Sunday, April 1.

「セレッソ大阪」×「桜」
「セレッソ大阪」のクラブ名である「セレッソ（CEREZO）」は、スペイン語で「桜」を指します。「桜」は大阪の“市花”であり、日本を代表する花でもあります。
“地域に根ざし、ここ大阪から日本を代表するクラブへ、世界で満開の夢を咲かせるクラブへ。サポーターとともにどこまでも成長していく。”
その思いをクラブ名に込めました。クラブの背景を踏まえ、「セレッソ大阪」の「桜」への思いを形にすべく、今回の商品化に至りました。染料に「桜」を用い、フードテキスタイルの技術でやさしい桜色のTシャツに仕上げました。

「桜」という日本文化に深く結びつく花をモチーフとした商品の発売をきっかけに、アパレル業界から「セレッソ大阪」を、プロサッカーリーグを盛り上げていきます。

フードテキスタイルでは、これまでもキユーピーグループの株式会社サラダクラブや株式会社生活の木、タリーズコーヒーなど、様々な食品企業とのコラボレーションを生み出してきました。これからも、アパレル業界からフードロスの問題にアプローチできるよう、取り組みを継続していきます。
