From Kashiwa to the world Towel muffler
This time, in collaboration with Kashiwa Reysol, a professional soccer team belonging to the J. League, whose hometown is Kashiwa City, Chiba Prefecture, Kashiwa Reysol original towels were released on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at the Reysol goods shop in Hitachi Kashiwa Soccer Stadium.
From 2012 to the end of August 2015, Kashiwa Reysol provided financial support to educational projects for hill minorities in northern Vietnam from among SCJ's various child support activities as part of its social contribution activities. Since September 2015 Japan SCJ has been cooperating with the "Prevention of Child Abuse" activities in Japan. In addition, we support SCJ's PR activities, such as displaying the SCJ logo on the uniforms of all categories of the top team and the development organization academy, and fundraising activities at matches.
This collaboration product is an original towel with a message that passionately conveys the fighting spirit of Reysol, printed with the motif of the Sun King and "From Kashiwa to the World".
■What is the "Orgavits" project developed by Toyoshima & Co., Ltd.?
The organic cotton promotion project in which the largest number of apparel brands in the Japan participate. With the idea of "reversal" to deliver 100% products to 100 times more people without sticking to 100% organic cotton, about 90 brands are currently participating and producing about 900,000 items a year. These activities have expanded to support farmers and NPOs in the country of origin, and the circle is expanding as a social contribution activity where people can participate in fashionable clothes through a single piece of clothing.
Cotton produced by conventional cultivation methods contains about 15% of the insecticides and 7% of pesticides used around the world (*Source: Textile Exchange), and contains various problems such as soil contamination and environmental problems. Organic cotton, on the other hand, refers to organically grown cotton on farmland that has not used any pesticides or chemical fertilizers for more than three years.
