Toyoshima & Co., Ltd. (President & CEO: Hanshichi Toyoshima, Nagoya City Naka-kuIn order to create a society where sustainable values can be sympathetic, we are working on management that takes the SDGs into consideration.
As part of these efforts, we have introduced CO2-free electricity (*1) provided by Chubu Electric Power Miraiz Co., Ltd. to our business sites in the Chubu region to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
This initiative aims to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from business activities by introducing electricity that utilizes the environmental value derived from renewable energy.
As a company that provides sustainable lifestyles through new empathy, as advocated in our Toyoshima SDGs Declaration, we will continue to actively promote the introduction of CO2-free electricity toward the realization of a sustainable society.


Overview of CO2-free electricity introduction
1 Applicable facilities
Nagoya Head Office (Nagoya-shi Naka-ku Nishiki 2-15-15) and seven of our business sites in the Chubu region

2 CO2 reduction
Approx. 130 tons per year (*2)
Equivalent to the annual CO2 absorption of approximately 9,300 cedar trees (*3)


*1 CO2-free electricity is an optional plan for electricity rates that utilizes the environmental value of renewable energy sources that do not emit CO2 during power generation and allows the use of virtually 100% renewable electricity.
