According to estimates* by United Nations agencies and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, one-third of the world's food production is thrown away every year, and Japan's annual food loss exceeds 6 million tons. increase. Food Textile focuses on the "color" of food, utilizes its own dyeing technology, and collaborates with various companies to tackle the food loss problem from the apparel industry.
This time, it was provided by the long-established oil shop “Yamamoto Sataro Shoten” in Gifu Prefecture, the restaurant “Zomeshiya” in Aichi Prefecture, the herb and aromatherapy specialty store “Tree of Life”, and the specialty coffee shop “Tully’s Coffee” originating in Seattle. Residues have been reborn as T-shirts and bags through a joint project with On Seven Days.

Yamamoto Sataro Store x Potatoes
